Nazca aqueducts were constructed more than 1900 years ago, with use of an impressive underground hydraulic engineering. In addition to the channels, they had spirals and underground waterway passages, which served purpose of irrigation and water supply from nearby mountains and chain of springs. This is all still functional and we enjoyed drinking crystal clear spring water from this "spiral"...
