Well Eldar, with all the evil incarnations that you have found in Peru, does it not make sense to see such an erection as this.... this is no feeble attempt to ward off the evil. The powerful imagery here. especially the rooster at the base, is enough to scare the b'jesus out of any villain attempting to corrupt the morality of this country's inhabitants. Oy. Michael.
