Amigo, this is the talent of the photographer who managed to capture the very essense of the Kukulkan's anguish, it has nothing to do with luck, LOL !

Oh, you lucky dog! I've always wanted to go there. And to capture such a fabulous image while you were there! Priceless. V! big time.

Outstanding light on this one! One of the best shot of Chichen-Itza I have seen, really beautiful!

Eldar, that is a gorgeous shot! The storm in the background sets this picture apart from the normal tourist picture.Well done.

How dramatic. Incredible.

This is amazing! They no longer let any climb up the temple. They have roped off all the ruins.

Maria, I have sworn to Kukulkan himself that in exchange to having such a special moment captured with his courtesy, I should've never ever used this image for any commercial purposes... He consealed my soul in that temple on the top of pyramid to ensure that I don't break my oath... If you don't believe me, take a trip to Chichen-Itza, stand in front of pyramid about 15 meters away and clap your hands twice... My soul will respond to you with cry of eagle...

You should try to sell it to Despair.com . Your Picture is so much better than what they have on their poster:http://www.despair.com/sacrifice1.html

Michael, it is truly spooky indeed... To make the things worse, devil gave me only 1/320 sec to engage the shutter, and meanwhile he's got rid of all those goddam tourists on pyramid and around, as second later we were all drenched in tropical rain !

Very spooky stuff Eldar. Looks like some agent of the Devil himself poked a hole in the cloud structure, just enough to allow some accenting, focused light to illuminate this ancient structure while contrasting against the brooding sky. Weird and Eery. Oustanding work. All my best, Michael.

A dramatic sky with a promise of a tropical storm!
