1st Place in Prints AA Open

Judge's Comments:
A very serene image. I really like the soft color palette. Don’t know if this was captured as one exposure or two to deal with the moon. Wish the moon was a touch darker, and not quite as yellow. The clouds in the sky are wonderful as is the amount of sand / gypsum in the foreground. There is a light in a building below the moon that is a real eye grabber. I would definitely clone that out and the light on the ridge to the left of the moon. Overall, this is an excellent image.
