The Villa

After Positano, we stayed in a lovely villa just off the A-1 about halfway from Rome to Florence, near the town of Citta della Pieve.The villa was very large with lovely grounds and a large pool.While there we visited Florence, Assisi, and Siena. We also visited smaller towns like Spello, Panzano, Montalcino, Pienza and San Casciano dei Bagni. A special treat was the Abbey San Antimo where we heard the monks chant.
