Lil and I had breakfast in our room, a tray loaded with excellent pastries, coffee, juice, etc. We later walked the narrow, hilly streets and confess that there is not much in Cordes but charm and views. We did see a bride and groom finding different spots for wedding pix. We left Cordes and took a leisurly back country drive to the airport at Carcassonne, our pickup point for the EMMA van. At 5, the van arrived and by 5:30 or so we got to the EMMA, moored on the Canal du Midi at Thebes.
