The 6 of us went off on our last day in Paris. We were staying across the street from St. Severin and as we left the hotel, we noted a large(400) group of young people dressed the same, black pants and white shirt. They were member of a musical group from Kansas, Ambassadors of Music, chosen to travel through Europe putting on free concerts. This day, the string group was performing in St. Severin followed by the choral group. They were very talented!!
Next, we took the Metro to Place de la Concore to visit Musee l'Orangerie, home of several Monet murals. We lunched in a beautiful setting in the Jardin de Tuleries, then went to the Musee. Frankly, I was disappointed with the Monet's here and like the Musee Marmotan better.
For dinner, we went to La Rotisserie d'en Face, a very nice place in the 6th.
