One of the great train rides in the world is the Glacier Express the connects Zermatt and st. Moritz, going both directions 3 times a day. It is 8 hours through beautiful countryside and mountains. St. Moritz is a lovely town most noted for skiing. However, we enjoyed our short visit and had the opportunity to take a horse drawn carriage ride. We were picked up at our hotel and taken around a small lake and through the woods to a park where people were swimming and sunbathing. there was a nice restaurant where we had lunch. After lunch we completed the circle around the lake and went back to the hotel. The Johnson's and the Young's then went up the gondola to the top of the Pix Nair for a fantastic view of the area.
