16th - In and Out

Dallas, TX.

As you can read, this is the George Bush Turnpike - 190.
I only took four pictures before I had a security guy
asking me to leave cause I was photographing on Government
property. You can't photograph anything these days without
someone thinking you're using the photograph for a bad
purpose. It's kind of sad.

Canon EOS 10D , Canon 24-70mm F/2.8L
15" @ F/11 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

That guy asking you to leave reminds me of those two guys that told us you couldn't shoot pictures of that tree on the prison grounds.... What is this world coming to? I'm happy with this shot by the way. I think it's perfectly centered.

Very nice. I love the words lit up. Hope it wasn't too dangerous for you to get this shot, being on the highway and all. Good job.

Great job. Sorry you were harassed. Good thing your camera doesn't look like a gun.

Really cool picture. Maybe if you were in a nun costume you could have stayed longer, they would have never suspected you then.

Amazing, telling you to leave for taking photos. What's next!?! Sad isn't a strong enough word to describe the situation. On the good side, you got an excellent shot. :-) Well done!

Even if you had been able to stay and get a few more cars in the shot, which would have been nice, this one was executed beautifully. I have had this happen to me a few times also, being asked what I was taking pictures of and so on...like I'm a terrorist. Great shot man...DP

Great picture Shawn. If it makes you feel better my husband has stuck it to the man by not paying these stupid tolls...but in the end we're the ones paying. I really like this picture. I love it.

It is very sad that in the land of the free we can't take pictures like this. I love it.
