Saint Louis Zoo 070707

Saturday morning at the Zoo, Saint Louis, Missouri.
It was promising to be a hot day, so I went early and returned home before noon.
"Store-brand" ASA 200 print film.
Camera: Yashica ME 1, produced 1983.
Compact 35mm. Scale focus 3.5 feet to infinity. Yashica lens f:2.8/38mm.
Programmed shutter with CDs meter, 1/60 to 1/360 second.
Hot shoe for flash, manually set apertures for flash mode.
Camera showed one flaw, a band of white light across bottom area of some frames, showing across top of images. I think it is probably a reflection off a shiny black area at bottom of internal light chamber, and it can probably be fixed with a piece of nonreflective flocking material.

What closeups!!! The orangutan, the cool hippo, the giraffes!!!!! I really loved seeing the carousel...Great animals on it. Makes me want to ride it....Thanks, Janice

I "love" the picture of the catfish. I like the way the light rays go through the water, and the fish itself, too.
