St. Louis Zoo 050517 with Pentax f:2/50mm

The rain finally stopped and we decided to spend the afternoon at the Zoo.

I took an older manual focus Pentax SMC-A lens, f:2.0 and 50mm length, and mounted to a Pentax istD digital body. It made for an easy, lighter carry.
This lens is much faster than the AF 18-55 zoom normally mounted to that body. With the ability to boost the sensor of the camera body to ASA 3200, it gave the outfit good low light capability.
The 50mm focal length with the 2/3 digital sensor in the body makes it the equivalent of a short telephoto, which turned out to be a good length for shooting at the Zoo.

But I made a big goof. When I was at IMGP4958.JPG I boosted the compensation for +2 stops overexposure, for a couple of bears in a dark den, but I forgot to reset for 0 compensation. Everything I captured after that was very overexposed. The ones I managed to save in software are here below.
