I got this camera recently in auction, $4.99 plus shipping and handling.
Last week it arrived, a total piece of junk.
Missing rewind crank, broken self timer lever, bad light seals, crumbling gooey mirror bumber, slow speeds not working, dead metering, aperture ring very stiff, fungus growing on all internal lens element surfaces, and a thick layer of gray crud covering all.
I first cleaned, then replaced parts, fixed shutter and aperture ring. Did not find meter problem, so left it meterless. Disassembled lens assembly, was able to access 8 of 10 surfaces to clean off fungus.
Attached a strap, packed ASA 200 print film, added a hand held meter, and this 30 year old camera was ready for action again.
Sunday morning met up with Todd S. from Illinois at the St. Louis Camera Show, we had lunch then headed out Gravois.
We shot side by side in and around Cedar hill, House Springs, and High Ridge, Missouri. Todd had his Canon 5D digital full frame sensor beast, I had the sad little Sears Ricoh. It was a good Shoot. I exposed about 75 images, on three rolls of film, Here is a sampling.

All images here are handheld, available light, exposures either by hand meter or by guess.
