Trains July 5, 2006

Today I loaded a recently acquired and cleaned-up Pentax ME body (untested by me until now) with a roll of Konica Minolta VX 200 print film.
It went into a bag with a normal assortment of lenses, and midday, I drove over to the Museum of Transportation in St.Louis County.
It was a rather warm and slightly hazy day, the sun nearly overhead.
Much of the lighting was odd, I used available light under the tin and fiberglass roof of a large train shed.
I switched between three lenses: a Vivitar f:2.8 / 28mm, a Sears (Ricoh) f:1.4 / 50mm, and a J.C.Penney f:2.8 / 135mm macro focusing lens (I recently repaired and restored this lens).
The 50mm seems to flare a bit when pointed into bright areas, even though all the glass looks clean and clear with closehand inspection.
