Argus STL-1000 at National Museum of Transportation

This camera was manufactured in Japan for import by Argus in the early 1970's. Shutter is the square metal blade type, and the camera body features TTL metering and the common Pentax m42 type lens mount system. Clean examples are still very capable.

Friday morning I loaded up with a fresh roll of Kodak 400 color film.
After eying the cookies with my "Argus Eye" I headed out midday to the National Museum of Transportation.

Images t, u, and v were captured with the addition of a Spiratone Curvatar Ultra Wideangle Aux. extension, mounted to the front of the GAF f:1.9/50mm lens.

The next day I developed the filmstrip myself using safe Caffenol chemistry. Caffenol renders all films in monotone. The sepia tone is added by me later in software.
