When I was shooting fall conditions last week at Rockford Beach, I got out the little Nikon Coolpix L22 digital (flea market item) when the film ran out in the Pentax K1000.

This little camera does well in color capture, and the zoom gives it some versatility.
It has its limits, however, due to the lack of control it offers over aperture and shutter speed selection.
