Quincy Sunset

On the Mississippi River bank in Quincy, Illinois, on June 25, watching the sun go down through a small storm cell that popped up in Kirksville, Missouri, 60 miles away.
These were captured with my little Olympus Stylus 1010 digital.
Lots of data info was recorded in the files, and I was able to make the colors go all kinds of ways in computer adjustment... I settled on these balances, because they gave a sense of the sharp hot clear air of the evening. Any other balance in the color rendition might be "subjective to taste."

These are fantastic shots. Not a bad one in the lot. You do great work Pal. I had the pleasure of shooting a fawn with spots while out fishing today. Hope it turns out as good as these of yours. Also got a shot of my neighbor girl catching her first fish with me. It's on digital. Have to show you at home not on here.

You ought to feature 0089 in your booth for a Quincy show. Nice image. And 0124 is a winner too.

Pretty evening! I like 0134 because you get a view of both old and new bridge technology, plus it's a nice composition.
