Orchid Show and Missouri Botanical Gardens 030714

Finally got out to see the annual Orchid Show at the Missouri Botanical Gardens this morning.
Weather was lower 60's Fahrenheit and lots of sun.
Orchids were indoors with lots of skylights.

Camera was Pentax K10 D with 18 - 55 lens.
All images were hand held with available light, mode set to Aperture Priority, and ASA at 800 indoors, 400 outdoors.

Each Picture could hang on a wall!!! Beautiful. And soon the flowers will be able to survive outside!!!!!! I hope.....

These are beautiful. Makes me want to find a Home Depot that has flowers for sale out front. I like how the skylight diffused the shadows.
