Another Olympus Clamshell for 35 mm

Olympus marketed a number of different models of "clamshell" type pocket cameras for 35mm film.
They were offered with a variety of lens specifications and features.
Some were "allweather," some were not.

This one is labeled "OLYMPUS (infinity) Stylus Epic ZOOM 80,"
also "MULTI AF ALL-WEATHER" and "QUARTZDATE."
A lot of labeling for such a small camera.

I loaded it up this past weekend with Walgreens ASA 200 and gave it a test run.
Locations are my own yard, the Meramec riverbank in Fenton, Murphy Flats, and St. Martin's Cemetery in High Ridge.
Camera nailed the autofocus most of the time, but some frames were wasted due to camera shake.
It was not easy to get a steady shot, partly due to the camera's small size and mass in my big hands, and slick nature of the release button.

Please remember to click on thumbnails for enlargement.
