New Squirrel Feeder?

This little guy knew EXACTLY what my new feeder station was meant for.
Captured through my kitchen window, hand held, with a Pentax K10 D digital body and Tamron 28 - 105mm lens.

Ok. Sorry. Vaseline is petroleum based so it would get on their fur and they would try to clean it off and ingest it and that would be very bad

The Center for Wildlife says there are many ways to deter squirrels from climbing feeders, however, Vaseline and other lubricants can harm the animals. “Please do not coat your bird feeders in Vaseline, oil, butter, or anything like that.Jun 21, 2018

But you can out smart them! I had the same problem and discovered that by applying Vasoline to the pole made it too slippery for the squirrels. So they stopped!
