Natrona is on the Allegheny River 20 some miles upstream from Pittsburgh. I think the "Access 24" sign indicates 24 miles of river from the confluence with the Monongahela to form the Ohio River.
The bronze relief sculpture monument was just recently installed.
Improvements are ongoing to the river access area.
Camera was a Pentax Optia E50 digital.
During my little walk, air temperature was in the 100 degree Fahrenheit range. Unusual heat for Western Pennsylvania.
I grew up here, but now live some 650 miles to the west.
