My old hometown today...
Camera was an Olympus Stylus Infinity Zoom loaded with Fuji 200 print film.
I don't know why building color bled into the sky in some shots, probably the film.

These buildings are indeed Natrona landmarks. I can see myself walking throughout the town as a kid. By the way, have you seen the Slovak Hall? I just don't understand why people are destructive. Very sad.

It was interesting to look at your and my hometown from your picture perspective...as Janice mentioned, when you drive past it every week (or everyday), you tend to not notice "what really is there"!

An amazing set, Ed. I put "My Home Town" (Springsteen) on uTube while your slides played; it was perfect. The pathos of it all, the decay of small town life in America, was a jolt.

I like Pinespruce Alley...the bricks remind me of my old hometown in Nebraska.
Sad to see the drug store boarded up...and the grafitti. Hooties place has
character if only for the Ben Franklin quote. Nice work Ed.

#13 reminds me of that shot in a photography book, where a girl in red dress is standing in doorway, and watching the world go by. Kind you see two old men smoking pipes and taling politics, or sports. Maybe a boy with a dog on a leash, and a popcycle in his hand.
Nice hometown shots to be proud of. So you were raised in Pa.
