Almost Spring at Minnie Ha Ha Park 031916

A fairly nice day, so we went to walk a little at Minnie Ha Ha Park in Sunset Hills, MO, on the Meramec River. The park has just reopened a few days ago. This area was very deep under water during the New Year's Flood, in fact I think it was over the bridge. The river is now at a fairly normal level, but it will take some time for the flora and fauna to get healthy again.

Old Town district of Fenton can be seen spread out along the opposite bank.

Camera: Pentax *ist D, with the 18-55 mm lens.

Judging by the height of that Bridge Ed, there was a huge volume of water heading downriver, thanks for sharing your day out, nice pictures.
