The Micronta 35X is an unusual camera made by Haking of Hong Kong British Colony in 1959. It is tiny, but heavy, with enough chrome to build a bumper for a 1953 Buick.
Lens is Halina Anastigmat f:3.5 / 45mm, in a triplet (three glass element) design. Shutter offers B and speeds marked 1/25 through 1/200. (I did an electronic shutter speed test... actual speeds ranged from about 1/75 second through 1/145), Shutter must be manually cocked before release. Focus is 3 feet through infinity, the entire lens portion of the barrel turns to focus. Simple viewfinder, so focus distance must be estimated, along with exposure settings.
The camera is essentially identical to the Halina 35X of the same year.
These cameras might LOOK like toys, almost like a joke, they are so tiny and shiny. However, they are not to be dismissed out of hand.

On Sunday October 16, I loaded up with a roll of Fuji 200 and went out to find subjects to test the camera.
First few frames were exposed in the old section of the cit of Valley Park.
From there I went up the hill to the Museum of Transportation.
You may have seen these subjects in my images before, but not as seen through the lens of a Micronta 35X.
