praying mantis 082515

This is just a little guy, maybe 2 inches in body length.
Camera: Pentax *ist D digital SLR with 18-55mm lens, at the 55mm end.
Last two images were with addition of a magnifying diopter filter, which significantly decreased the depth of field.
By the way, I shot these hand held with existing light.
I have now added a color corrected set as well.
