Pentax K1000 SE and Fall Color, Highway 30 and Gravois Road Corridor

Camera: Pentax K1000 SE body, later version, with plated polycarbonate top and bottom sections and "Assembled in China" on the bottom, serial number 5960455.
Lens: Ricoh Riconar f:2.2 / 50mm.
Film: some older stock Kodak 400 MAX from my freezer.

I began this set yesterday when the sun poked out for an hour during changing weather...
started with the Virginia Creeper in our backyard, then walked parts of Highway 30 in High Ridge area.
It was very windy, and I was shooting mostly at 1/500 second.
Today dawned crisp and clear. I finished off the roll on the new (recently dedicated) bridge out of Old Town Fenton, and in Minnie Ha Ha Park on the Meramec River in Sunset Hills.
Image 033A.jpg is poison ivy climbing a tree... actually a very beautiful plant.

The Fall color is advancing fast up here on high ground. It is a little slower to change down along the Meramec River, as it usually is.

The K1000 body handled nicely; as usual, a user friendly design.
I was not especially blown away with the performance of the entry level Ricoh lens, and found the quality of the Kodax MAX film a bit grainy in the scans. Software helped in preparing in these images.
