First Snow 2022

It is now mid-January, and up until now it has been virtually a snow-free winter here in this part of Missouri.
Yesterday evening we had a long steady rain. Then over night the temperature dropped a few degrees and it turned over to snow by morning. When it stopped, the total in High Ridge was about 2 and 1/2 inches.
I looked upon the new snow as a blank white canvas, then sought out abstract shapes and forms, subtle colors and textures.
