I walked the Greenway park along the Meramec River from Old Town Fenton. The park has a number of huge Sycamore trees, very old, very majestic. Many are between 4 and 6 feet thick in the trunks, 15 feet or so in circumference.
This area was very deep under water during the New Year's Flood. Here and there, I could see dramatic evidence of the recent flood.
The camera I was carrying is older style, an Olympus digital Camedia C-750.
The 40x zoom range is awesome.
Lens is sharp as a pin.
Color balance at times is a little strange, not easy to balance out. With some images there was an excess in part of the blue spectrum.
Other than that, the camera is an easy carry and intuitive in its usage.

#129 is beautiful with the start of spring blooming, the other trees will catch up.

This type of Magnolia bloom is one of my favorites in the early as they look great in arrangements with buttercups or what ever one wishes to call jonquils in the Spring. Enjoyed photos Ed

The excess blue played to an advantage on the water scenes. Very nice. Beautiful flowers but damaged trees are heartbreaking. Good documentation scenes on the high water marks (and debris) on the bridge. You and the camera did very well.
