Wirgin Edinex

Camera: Wirgin Edinex type (0)... 1930s, Prontor II shutter 1-175 (same exact shutter assembly as with the ultrarare Argus B) in collapsible barrel, Gewironar uncoated f:4.5 / 5cm lens... front cell focusing, down to somewhere less than 2 feet (!)....
Film: Konica/Minolta ASA 200.
I had concerns with the camera, since I could not get it apart to do a good cleaning or inspection (the escutcheon holding the barrel in place has tiny pitch screws that feel as if they were welded)... but considering camera's age, I was happy enough with results.
Prints were rich with fair contrast... and sharp enough, I thought.
One flaw evident, top center of several shots, a little smear of white flare or internal reflection. I cannot tell if it is caused by a shiny internal surface, since I cannot open the camera, and it is a one-piece bottom loading body like an early Leica. There could be a small light leak but I am doubtfull, since I carried it in its leather everready case.
Subjects: Rockford Beach on Big River, city of Byrnesmill, Jefferson County, Missouri;
Transport Museum, St.Louis County, Missouri;
And Zoe, our living room lamp holder.
