Wednesday April 18 was mild, mostly sunny, and windy.
I stopped for a visit at the Claire Gempp Davidson conservation area on Sappington Road.
Not much foliage on the trees yet, but I did find some signs of Spring. The female goose was sitting on a nest in a safe place on a little island. Those two turtles put on a great mini drama!
Camera: Pentax K-110 D with a Pentax 28-90mm lens. This one has broken autofocus, but I had no problem with focusing manually. All shots were hand held.
Great photographs Ed, nature at its finest and you did it justice. Love the spring blossom too and that is a great comfort to many as winter reluctantly gives way to natural forces and warmer weather, same thing happening in Australia through we don't have the gradual Fall season that you seem to be blessed with and the slow changing of leaf colours I appreciate the good work you display. How sweet, the pictures of the turtles. Nice to see some buds on the trees.
