This pair of sets, two halves of a roll of Fuji 200 film, was about two weeks in the making. That is largely because my local lab's color developer was down, and I sent the film off in the mail to Kansas.

Camera, a Canon Sure Shot WP-1 for "weatherproof," has a rather playful look to it. Everything is sealed against the weather, and even the lens looks out through a sealed round window. It features auto film advance and rewind, auto exposure, zoned auto focus, and choice of auto flash, full time flash, flash off, or macro. What I don't like is that macro setting also means you cannot turn off the flash.

First set was on a cold wet day, partly in a light rain, at Cedar Hill Mill. I wanted to see how the New Year's Flood affected the mill and the park. Mill is still standing, but not so healthy. And a larger chunk of the dam was washed out as well. Weather was not a problem for the camera, it needed no protection.

Second set was a bright sunny day a couple days later at Laumeier Sculpture Park in Sunset Hills. Weather again was not much of an issue for the camera.

In general, I think the camera did well for something that looks like a toy. Autofocus worked fine, and the images were reasonably sharp. Not a bad camera to grab for casual shooting under any or all conditions.
