Cabot and Saxonburg, Pennsylvania

The settlements of Cabot and Saxonburg are about two miles apart, midway between Freeport and Butler, Pennsylvania.
I paid a short visit last Friday while visiting family nearby.
Saxonburg is a surprisingly significant place in terms of modern history, as you will find by reading the historical placcards depicted below.

Camera was my Pentax *ist d digital SLR with the 18 to 55 mm lens.
