Argus C33 December 2011

The fairly uncommon Argus C33 is a brick shaped camera made in 1959-1961 that people either love or hate.
It was an attempted upgrade to succeed the venerable Argus C3 Brick.
Rather more sophisticated that the C3, it featured many niceties including an improved viewfinder / rangefinder, m / x sync, 180 degree lever wind, retractable rewind crank, an imported shutter assembly for speeds from 1 second to 1/300, and a very nice and effective new design of bayonet mount for a series of four interchangeable lenses, all this while retaining the shape and feel of a square brick.
The details and appearance are very true to 1950s modern design.

In cold dry weather, I went off in search of some Christmas Spirit, roaming the Fenton - High Ridge - House Springs area.
Film was a roll of Kodak 200 print film of unknown vintage.
