Baldessa 1a and Transport Museum

Balda Baldessa 1a, from Balda Kamera-Werk, Bunde, West Germany, 1958.
Coupled rangefinder, with bright frame and parallax compensation.
Focuses 3 feet to Infinity.
Baldanar f:2.8 / 45 mm lens, in Prontor SVS shutter, speeds 300 -> 1 second plus B.
No exposure meter.
Serial Number 029434.
By the way, this camera is from the West German Balda firm (they split into two after WW II). It is constructed of heavy metal, no plastic.

This camera came to me in beautiful condition and fully functioning.
A few days ago, on a bright high ultraviolet day, I loaded it with a roll of Fuji 200 print film and took it to the Museum of Transport to shoot alongside one of my Pentax digital SLR's.
Most frames were shot at about f:11 @ 1/300.
I am truly impressed with the performance of the Baldessa.
This one is a Keeper for me.
