Argus Model C in Forest Park 052210

This camera was a fairly recent acquisition for me.
I cleaned and partially restored it a few weeks ago.
The Model C was produced in 1938, and was the first of the Argus 35mm film "Bricks."
Uncoated lens, f/3.5 to f/18.
Scale focusing from 3.5 feet to infinity.
Non-coupled rangefinder.
10 marked shutter speeds from 1/5 to 1/300.
No provision for flash synchronization.
Serial number on this one is 15839C.

Today was the first clear warm dry day we have seen here in some time.
I loaded the C with a fresh roll of Walgreens store brand asa 200 print film.
Then I headed to Forest Park, St. Louis.
Forest Park was gridlock of traffic!
Closest I could get to the Zoo was near the Jewel Box, so I parked there and hoofed it to the Zoo.
All shots are hand held available light.
I do not know the source of the scratch marks on the film, many possibilities.
