Antiques 012516 with ViviCam128

I paid maybe 3.00 for this tiny digital camera at a thrift store. Maybe it was the purple color that had me assuming that it was just another cheap low end low grade toy.
So without bothering to explore features or look through the menus, I put a couple of batteries in it and a memory card, and dropped it in my tote bag.

On my way home today from a doctor visit I stopped by the antique mall for a quick look around. I took the little ViviCam in with me and shot some images, just using the settings that were already selected when I bought the camera, no changes except to shut off the flash.
These are available light images, and hand held.

When I got home I decided to put in a bigger memory card (SD type) and explore the setup menu. I was surprised by the features I found in there, including image stabilization, and facial recognition. Even more surprising was to discover that resolution can be cranked up all the way to 14 megapixel. Tempting, but I put it at 10 megapixels, for sake of economy.
Next time out with it, I expect better results.
