I picked up this camera at an antique mall on my way through Ohio last Monday.
It needed some cleaning, and a flush out of the shutter mechanism, to get it back to good useful condition.
Agfa Silette (type 3) made in Germany 1958, serial number ZW6521, specs and features:
AGFA COLOR - APOTAR f:2.8/45mm lens, focus range from about 3 feet to infinity, focus by "guesstimation";
simple viewfinder with no rangefinder;
PRONTO leaf shutter with marked speeds B, 25, 50, 100, 200;
"cold" accesory shoe and and socket on front of camera for cabled flash, x synchronization.
Yesterday I loaded a roll of Fuji 200 for a trial run.
I got my shooting in before Noon. The day was a bit hazy, promising to be a hot one.
Most of the images are from Minnie Ha Ha Park along the Meramec River in Sunset Hills, Missouri.
Garden scenes were here at home.
All images are hand held. I used a hand held Gossen Pilot meter for exposure reference.
