...walked over the Notre Dame. Between Debby's foot and my knee, decided to skip the tower climb. Interior was impressive, but more from an architecture standpoint.
Walked over to the Latin Quarter for lunch @ Loubnane (Lebanese, excellent! Hommus, Mixed Grill, Lamb shish).
Walked to Musee de Moyen Age (formerly Cluny); interesting building (has Roman baths in the basement) and exhibits on Medieval artifacts/decorations - e.g. unicorn tapestries; stuff salvaged from Ste Chapelle and Notre Dame after restorations, etc.
Walked over to the Pantheon - interesting since it hasn't been a church in over a century, and has become kinda like St Paul's/Westminster, where many famous French people (civilians largely) are interred. Curies (both), Victor Hugo, Emile Zola, Rosseau, Voltaire, cenotaph to St. Exupery.
Metro back to hotel. Dinner at La Poule au Pot (very good, very authentic: roasted marrow on garlic toast to start, then Poule au Pot - with chicken pate, pork belly, root vegetables, leeks, and chicken - very well done and tasty for boiled chicken stew.) Came back via strange route due to disruption on the Line 1.
