They call this area the Sky Islands, for its isolated land masses that reach to the sky. But during the monsoons, it could just as well be called the Island Skies, for here isolated patches of sky often reach down to touch the land. This view was on our way across Sulfur Springs Valley, heading west to the Huachucas.
