In the bottom of the picture is a small frozen pond. I almost walked past it without noticing, but
the light hit it just so. And a light dusting from a recent snowfall added the bluish color of the
water beneath just enough so that all I had to do was point and shoot and try to stay out of the way.
The two hikers who happened by (lower left) give an added sense of perspective to the scene.
