These shots of the fence and trees along Forbidden Drive in Fairmount Park (facing east)
were taken in late December or early January. Before the snow came anyway. It is called
"Forbidden" because a long time ago it was closed to cars. We need a lot more forbidden drives!
I love how the light changes from moment to moment in the valley. How dark it gets in some
moments, and then the light dances in the afternoon sky. It just doesn't get any better than this.
