Japan

I visited Japan in May of 2006 for just short of 2 weeks. I was very surprised at how inexpensive it was to get to, stay, eat at and enjoy Japan; a country that is known to be one of the most expensive to visit. Japan was outstanding, a mix of old and new, where 1000 year old shrines meet giant big screen TV's. The Japanese people lived up to their very polite reputation.
