Heading south on Skyline Drive, Shenandoah National Park - milepost 2, 103 miles to go. This is one of those "April Showers that Bring May Flowers" kind of day - beautiful weather for saturating the great spring colors.
The weather on this day kept me hopping to keep the gear dry. Succeeded mostly (but just with the camera gear - my Gortex rain jacket eventually started letting water through after hours in steady downpours, but the pants held up fine).
