Spent the past few days categorizing images in IMatch. Another day or two and it will be finished. I keeping coming across images that I'd forgotten about. Here's one in place of today's "yet another rose" that I took an hour ago. I'm getting tired of roses.
This image is in the following categories - Place.Maine, Place.Water, Style.Fog, Style.Hand_of_Man and it's kind of neat to be able to recall an old image and retrieve it interactively in seconds based on characteristics such as these. You might start with how about Maine; glance at those and continue with "yeah, and how about fog and water"; and finish with "just show those where there's a hand of man present". Now we're cooking. Guess who has a 45 minute slide show presentation in a month and wants to be able to locate images for the show in a hurry - out of tens of thousands??
