A nice place to wade through muck. Not bad with a pair of waterproof boots. Not always easy to get good tripod footing though.
Lots of nice warm coloring and textures coupled with the mystery of the foggy background sold me on this scene.
Still haven't found anything not to like with my new D300. Also, my 18-200 lens is providing a good alternative to changing lenses between the 18-70 and the 75-300. When you need the 300 you need it, but for me that's not that often and it's still there should I choose to use it. You can't use a teleconverter with the 18-200 but I routinely add a 1.4x TC to the 75-300 so for practical purposes these two lens become 18-200 and 105-420. A good range of focal lengths especially since I'm not a birder. Add my 105 macro and 12-24 wide angle and the bases are pretty much covered.
