A favorite winter shooting spot about 1/4 mile from the location of yesterday's PAD.
Converted from color to monochrome since there wasn't much color to begin with.
Using the B&W conversion routines (3 of them) in Nik's Color Efex Pro was interesting. The one that I settled on was the only one that managed to bring out my foot prints in the snow - for good or bad, but I was interested in seeing how much detail could be pulled out of the image. As it came from the camera contrast-wise you would have been hard pressed to know the foot prints were there. Here is the Before version - http://www.pbase.com/image/90014902
The large amount of snowy foreground was included to allow space for text so that this could be used for a greeting card.
