Still loving the D300 - especially now that I've got it attached to the tripod (sort of - via an old D70 plate; Hurry, Kirk)
Ran some ISO noise test comparisons between the D70 and D300 - tripod, macro lens - and there is NO comparison. Fortunately I rarely ever shot the D70 above its minimum ISO. Having seen the tests, I never will shoot above the minimum with the D70 in the future. Really bad! If there is any interest, I'll post the images.
