Sextuple exposure - tripod. Extremely shallow DOF to throw everything out of focus but the flower's center. Six shots - three in focus & three completely out of focus. Each set of three at normal exposure, +1EV and +2 EV.
The combination of exposures provides a slightly high key image without blowing highlights. The combination of in & out of focus gives the image a soft feel while still providing detail where it's needed.
