As many times as I've done this tree (100's), this is the first from this perspective. The cattail foreground escaped my notice.
Wide angle lens and a circular polarizer (that I normally don't care for this wide because of drastic changes in color gradation) made for nice composition and color contrast options. Shot a dozen or so once I decided on this particular composition each catching a different cloud formation.
Put a light vignette on the final image as part of my continuing exploration of the Nik Color Efex Pro software.
