5/30/07 - At Pond's Edge

A Shoot Through (& montage) taken at last week's Freeman Patterson workshop (still trying to catch up with PAD postings after an internet-free week).
Everything except the "crackled texture" (most obvious in the purple) is straight from the camera. The "purple" is color from the wild rhododendron bush that the lens was stuck into while taking the shot. The "crackle" effect is from a macro of rusted paint on a old junked car. The macro was overlaid over the rhododendron-shoot-through to form this composite. Without the "crackle", I felt that the purple was too uniform (boring?).
