Straight from the camera (with a minor crop).
What do you get when you lay on the ground, stick a macro lens into a field of bluebells at a height of 6 inches, and vary the focus distance while moving the aim point around to see what you can see??
Well, besides getting wet, dirty and ticks - you see scenes like this one. The "haze" is caused by vegetation between the camera and the in-focus subjects further away. Shot with a wide open lens to keep the intervening vegetation transparent (instead of opaque).
